Recipe in February
Hello everyone, here is the detail on our Japanese home-cooking class in February.  PLEASE JOIN!!


February Class Recipe:

TERIYAKI CHIKEN       (鶏の照り焼き):  teriyaki chiken
MARINATED SPINACH (ほうれん草の胡麻和え):
RICE & MISO-SOUP    (ご飯と味噌汁):  rice and miso-soup


Class in February 2011;   

Date:
     Sunday February 27, 2011
Time:     
12:00 - 14:00
Venue:   15-20 minutes from Shibuya    

Fee:       5,000yen per person 
              No initial fee charged.
              Minimum number of participants:  from 3 persons

Detailed receips will be handed over during the class.

Language:  Mainly in English  (supplementary Spanish)
                   If you wish to learn some Japanese, 
                   we will do so occasionally in the class.

Cancellation Policy:  No chrages if you cancel 3 days 
                                 prior to the class by phone or mail.

(1)  Sukiyaki (すき焼き; Japanese traditional dish cooked with a pan)
 
(2)  Rolled sushi/ Califormani roll (のり巻き/カルフォルニアロール)
 
(3)  Kaisen Don (海鮮丼; Sashimi/seafood served with a rice bowl)
 
(4)  Okonomiyaki (お好み焼;
             Japanese savoury pancake containing various ingredients)
 
We try to accomodate your request of Japanese recipes upon your wish.

Cooking Class in January 2011!!
 

 

Year 2011 first class recipe:
TONKATSU (豚カツ):   deep-fried breated pork
GOHAN (ご飯)        :  bowl of rice
TONJIRU (豚汁)    :   miso soup with pork and various vegitables

Schedule in January 2011;   

Date:       January 20  (Thursday)
Time:       11:00-14:00

Fee:         5,000yen per person

Lecturer Profile

Lecturer:   Kumi Maruyama

After studying abroad in the United States, she was travelling all around the world as a tour escourt.  Then she had lived in Spain for 14 years.

She came back to Japan in year 2000.
Since then she has been introducing Spain home-style receipes in Japan.
She has produced 3 cooking books so far and her works are covered over major magazines and books.

In April 2010, she has newly opened the Japanese cooking classes for foreign people.

She speaks Spanish and English.
